On 5 January, the royal tram was transported to the container harbour in Melbourne and hoisted on board the Maersk Tokyo.

The container load with the tram is located right at the stern on the port (left) side, well protected by other containers.

The Maersk Tokyo called at Brisbane on 8 January and departed on 9 January, and is now on its way directly to the reloading harbour in Yokohama, with anticipated arrival on 17 January.
