Copenhagen - Line no. 9

Because of making a free port in Copenhagen some new areas became available for houses. In the autum 1904 line no. 9 was established to traffic the new areas of Copenhagen.

After a few years, plans were made for making this line to be circle line. Tracks were layed and more and more it seemed the cirkle line should be a reality. However, a little mile of rails were never done.

The last day the line was running as a tram was April 30. 1966.

Sporvejshistorisk Selskab has published a book of Line no. 9
